The two-way voice communication service is an excellent communication medium for localized emergencies like natural disasters. It’s also perfect for highway communications between truckers and for fun for radio enthusiasts and hobbyists.
Although the popularity of CB radios has waned in recent years mainly due to the advent of cell phones and the internet, they still remain extremely popular among truckers, survivalists, and radio hobbyists.
